2000-present: An industrial and business services supplier, specialized in the Eurasian energy sector

Since 2000, CIFAL’s activities have been largely oriented towards energy sectors, which also represent the majority of its revenue.  In order to better adapt to the needs of its clients and partners, CIFAL has been expanding the range of services offered within host countries.

The joint-venture company CEP was created in London in 2002 for this express purpose.  CEP provides technical and economic services for the evaluation of oil assets and consultancy services for oil companies working in Russia and the Central Asian/Caspian region.

In oil-related sectors, CIFAL is developing, together with major industrial companies, a policy of industrial partnerships and offering largely local services such as equipment certification, machinery parts sales and maintenance.  In order to ensure the consistency, quality and development of its industry service activities, a subsidiary group, CIFAL Industrial Services (CIS), was created in Dubai in 2007, under the direction of Thierry BINETRUY.

CIFAL has developed the same policy of partnerships and joint-ventures in construction, its second traditional sector of activity, with the creation of the Russian subsidiary CIFAL DECO in 2007 and its partnership with the Ginger Group (France) for real-estate development.

CIFAL has become a coherent group of companies whose know-how relies on its unparalleled expertise.  Each of its companies benefits from the Group’s experience thanks to several decades of market presence.  CIFAL’s continuing development  today is on par with the development of its host countries.
